The History of Pennsylvania Taverns in the 18th and 19th Centuries, with noted historian Tom McGuire.  Proceeds benefit The Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association. Tickets are $74 per person

"Admirals, Generals, Tidbits and Tipples: Taverns on the Lancaster Road During the Revolution". This presentation will take a look at the taverns in the Great Valley area during the 18th century, with special focus on the Warren Inn. The tavern names, foods and potables served, along with a veritable buffet of random historical events and personages will fill your evening with curious facts and lively dialogue.

Join us for a night dedicated to celebrating our 275th anniversary with pairings inspired by our delicious past. Laurie Forster, Sommelier and Comedienne, will be your host for an evening that will be both educational and entertaining.

Each course will tell a story of how wine and spirits were an integral part of the dining experience in colonial times. We will also be joined by noted local historian, Tom McGuire who will round out the night with a Q&A over dessert. You'll learn, laugh and never look pairings the same way again!

Tickets are $95 and include a sparkling reception with hors d'oeuvres, a 4-course meal with pairings and of course, Laurie’s famous  “edu-tainment” from The Wine Coach.
