As a member of the General Warren Team since 1987, originally as Chef/Proprietor following 16 years of cooking, Patrick Byrne welcomes you to Chester County's premiere historic inn. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Patrick has apprenticed and worked as chef for restaurants and hotels in New York, Washington, DC and the Philadelphia region. Since 1992, Patrick moved to overall supervision of the inn and left the daily kitchen production to the next generation of culinary artists. Born and raised in rural western Chester County and now residing near West Chester, Patrick has steered the General Warren into its fourth century by retaining the hospitality roots, consistently great food, attentive service and 18th century charm of this landmark facility to the patrons and travelers of The Great Valley.
