Today's guest at the historic General Warren will find the perfect blend of old world charm, excellence in American cuisine, fine wines and delightful overnight accommodations. We strive to meet all of our guest's expectations and routinely exceed them. We consistently ask our patrons for their feedback and find our critics comments useful in always providing service excellence. Below are just a few recent testimonials from our visitors as well as some of our critics.
Very quaint beautiful rooms. The staff is very accommodating and friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. The food was fantastic. I have been recommending it to all my friends. I'd definitely stay again.– posted by A.W. on B&B.com
Our stay at the GW was memorable. The cozy rooms are full of charm and so is the staff. Our Innkeeper, Gretchen, was attentive to all our needs. Our historic window overlooked the gardens in bloom and the breakfast room was bright with a full view of the spring house. A scrumptious cinnamon coffee cake was served. We would like to revisit the Inne at Christmas time and enjoy another tasty dinner prepared by their excellent chefs.– posted by S.W. on B&B.com
This is one of our favorite B&Bs. We loved it and will recommend it to everyone staying in the area. Hope to be back!!!– D. S. of Bressler PA
This is an extraordinary inn – we loved our stay and can't wait to return. The staff made us feel very welcome and comfortable from beginning to end. With our weather difficulties getting here and the house moving task we were part of while we were here, the upgrade was a welcome surprise and treat. Our son moved in just down the street so it's nice to know we'll have such a great place to stay when we visit.– L. P. of West Nyack, NY
All around excellent. True hospitality. As a tourism professional I'm very hard to please – exceeded my expectations. True value and unobtrusive professionalism. I'll be back.– M. O. of Philadelphia, PA
We came here to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. We had a wonderful stay. The food was excellent. My husband has many food allergies and we were thrilled to hear that the restaurant was gluten free certified. We will definitely be back.– N. F. of New Castle, DE
We absolutely LOVE this place! We've spent our last two wedding anniversaries here and plan on spending our next one here too!– F. M. of Bensalem, PA
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the entire staff of the inn. We were treated like royalty and felt so welcome. As we entered the reception area for dinner, we were congratulated many times by staff and patrons. We felt so welcomed and hated to leave. We have decided to return yearly to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you once again for making us feel so welcome and for the outstanding dinner!– A. C. of Cairnbrook, PA
Excellent food, reasonable price, friendly, knowledgeable innkeepers, nice architecture. Will recommend to friends.– K. L. of Queenstown, MD
